I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
